Swedish dark prog metal legends Katatonia return to the world stage with a major new concert program. After successful shows in Europe, the band launches the long-awaited Waking State Of North America tour in 2026, supporting their latest album, Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State, praised for its melancholic depth.
The tour begins in February with joint performances where Katatonia supports Opeth across the US and Canada. They’ll then head out on their own run, hitting Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Montreal. Fans can expect both new songs and classic favorites. The schedule expands beyond North America with a confirmed Santiago show in March, marking a return to South America, plus an autumn tour in Australia and New Zealand. European fans can catch them at summer festivals, including Mystic Festival.
